Mostly Testing

We went to Cadbury World yesterday. We’ve been before but that was about 4 years ago or so. Quite a lot is the same but there are a few new additions most noticeably the Essences “show” which culminates in a free pot of warm chocolate.

It’s mostly an educational visit; indeed they stress that it’s a visitor centre and not a theme park. You get to see some of the factory with the added bonus of being spoon fed Cadbury’s propoganda.

Still, it tastes nice so no complaints there.

It’s distinctly less of an attractive prospect to visit these days. I went about 10 years ago, and remember being given a 500g bar of dairy milk, loads of chocolate bars and unlimited shots of warm chocolate. Nowadays, you don’t get anywhere near that much, and they charge almost treble what they used to :)
