• Hello all. Sorry for the silence. Haven't felt much like tweeting. Appreciate all your messages, though. I'll be back to work on Thursday. #

• Of course, I'm not at all upset or phased by "Steve". Not everyone is blessed with sanity. #
• Watching the Man U v. Man C game. No idea why, I don't like football. A man fell over and got a free goal for it. Amazing. #
• I don't care who wins, but I hope its the ones in blue. Its such a lovely pastel colour. Ideal for a downstairs toilet. #
• Collected Barney's ashes today from a Pet Crematoria about an hour away. Nice place, friendly without being insincere. #
• Visited our vet on the way back to thank him. He last saw Barney when he referred him. When he found out he said "that one hurt". #
• He was geniunely sad. Felt we needed to say thanks and goodbye as we're unlikely to see him again. Really nice guy, will miss him! #
• He always took care of Barney and diagnosed his melanoma last year on a routine check. Gave us 8 more months with him. #
• Back to work tomorrow. Will catch up with correspondence in the morning. Apologies if awaiting a reply for anything. #
• Morning all. Trying to finish up some Twitter integration today. #
• Almost done with mystery twitter feature. Lovely API they have. #
• "Cast Away" on Sky Movies. What a fantastic film. Plane crash effect still wows 10 years on. #

• Is it wrong to get a little too excited at the hardware in Maplins? Mmmmm cables and external enclosures. #
• Worked out that I had 10 portions of fruit and veg yesterday. Take that "5 a day" campaign. #paleo #
• Todays purchases: Firewire 400 to 800 adaptor and camcorder to RCA. Enables me to import footage from old HI-8 'corder. RCA for TV viewing. #
• Found some footage from '07 of Barney opening presents himself. Will youtube at some point. He was such a clever boy. #
• Got in and Luke is overtired and grizzly. Almost a mini tantrum. Put on Thomas the Tank Engine and he starts clapping and dancing. Kids… #
• Watched first Lord of the Rings, did not like. Never seen the sequels. #confession #
• I saw the first in the cinema. Got so bored I was counting how many seats were in the theatre. I forget how many now. #
• Glad its not just me that thought LOTR was just a bunch of grumpy hairy trolls romping around a valley then ending. #
• While we're at it, didn't like King Kong much either. Too long and too stupid. Shonky CGI in places. Ice skating gorillas? Good lord. #
• Holding out hope for Jackson's "Lovely Bones". Liked the book immensely. Shouldn't contain monkeys or trolls. #
• Morning BTW. Sundays still remind me of ironing school uniforms and polishing shoes. My own for school. I didn't work in a dry cleaners. #
• I did work in a cake / convenience shop on Sundays in my late teens. Never eaten a fresh cake since. Summer was a wasp frenzy. #
